Mountain Moon Sangha
A Brisbane Zen Community
About us
The Mountain Moon Sangha in Brisbane was founded by Sei'un An ("clearing the clouds") Roselyn Stone, an authorised Zen master in the Sanbo Kyodan lineage of Japan.
From 1993 until her retirement in 2007, Roselyn Stone Roshi was the residential Zen master of the Mountain Moon Sangha, travelling from her home city of Toronto, Canada to Brisbane, and residing in Brisbane from three to six months each year.
In 2006, Liyea Bretz, Garry Cam, Jean Wilson and Matthew Love were authorised by her to teach.
Liyea, Garry and Jean are receiving their students and continuing in the tradition of the Sanbo Kyodan lineage in the Brisbane Zendo. They are available for dokusan (interview) every Tuesday and at weekend events at the Zendo.
